Shadow Creek is a luxurious golf course in Las Vegas that offers a unique experience to its guests. Long-time general manager Monte Montgomery shared some insights on how to secure a tee time at this exclusive course. While it may seem difficult at first, there are ways to book a reservation, especially if you are a guest at designated MGM properties. However, it will come at a hefty price, with the current rate being $1,250 per round, making it the most expensive public tee time in the United States. Despite the high cost, Shadow Creek’s reputation as one of the top courses you can play is well-deserved, as it offers a premium golfing experience.

The history of Shadow Creek dates back to 1989 when it was designed by Tom Fazio at a cost of around $60 million. MGM Resorts International took over ownership in 2000 and made the course accessible to guests of select MGM properties. Over the years, the price of playing at Shadow Creek has increased significantly, but the quality of the experience has also improved. Guests can enjoy a private limo ride to the course, a caddie, and locker amenities, making it a truly luxurious golfing destination.

For those unable to visit Shadow Creek in person, there is still a chance to experience the course through televised events like the upcoming TNT Match featuring top golfers Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, and Bryson DeChambeau. This match follows in the footsteps of a previous event between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, showcasing the appeal of Shadow Creek as a premier golf destination. The course’s ranking on GOLF’s list of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play further solidifies its reputation as a must-visit location for golf enthusiasts.

Despite the exclusivity and high price tag associated with Shadow Creek, there are avenues for booking a tee time, especially for guests staying at designated MGM properties. The process may involve reaching out to a casino host or booking online, with certain restrictions on weekend tee times. While the cost may deter some visitors, the unparalleled experience and amenities offered at Shadow Creek make it a worthwhile investment for avid golfers. Whether you are a seasoned player or a casual enthusiast, playing a round at Shadow Creek promises to be a memorable and luxurious experience.
