26 golfers secured their LPGA status for 2025 at the Final Qualifying tournament

The LPGA Final Qualifying tournament in Mobile, Alabama was extended due to rain, with players completing the final round on Tuesday after a washout on Monday. Japanese sisters Chisato and Akie Iwai, along with their countrymate Miyu Yamashita, were among the highlights of the event. Chisato and Akie have a combined 13 JLPGA titles, with Chisato finishing second at 21 under and Akie tied for fifth at 16 under. Yamashita took medalist honors at 27 under.

Adela Cernousek, the 2024 NCAA champion, left college midseason to pursue an LPGA card and finished 11 under to earn it. In total, 26 players earned LPGA status for the upcoming season. This was the first time since 2017 that the final stage was played over 90 holes. Among the key players who will be part of the LPGA in 2025 are Miyu Yamashita, Chisato Iwai, Ina Yoon, and many others who had solid performances during the final qualifying event.

Japanese star Saki Baba, Chinese veteran Yu Liu, Belgian player Manon De Roey, and other notable players also secured their LPGA status for the next season. Veterans like Alena Sharp and Azahara Munoz, as well as rising stars like Caley Mcginty and Ana Belac, also earned their LPGA cards. The tournament showcased a diverse group of players from different countries, backgrounds, and playing styles.

The players who earned LPGA status for 2025 have a wide range of experiences, from seasoned veterans with multiple titles to rookies looking to make a name for themselves on the tour.
