Following a disappointing finish outside the top 150 in the FedEx Cup standings in the 2018/19 season, he returned to the developmental Korn Ferry Tour, where he has been competing since. In December, Schniederjans participated in a LIV Golf Promotions event where the winner would earn a contract on the lucrative LIV Golf circuit. While he finished fourth in the tournament, he was encouraged by his performance and decided to pursue a career with LIV Golf. Seeing examples like Ben Campbell, who earned a full-time contract on the circuit despite not winning the event, further motivated Schniederjans to join the league.
