Srixon has recently introduced its new line of ZXi irons, featuring three models and a utility iron. The company has implemented a new Impact Forging technology in these new irons, which aims to improve the feel of the clubs. The new i-FORGED process helps strengthen and enhance the steel used in the irons, providing a better hitting feel and overall performance. Each iron in the lineup has been carefully designed with specific materials to balance and strengthen the club while giving players immediate feedback at contact.

The ZXi7 irons are a single-piece forging that are 7 percent softer than the previous generation, while the ZXi5 and ZXiU have face materials that are 14 percent softer than their predecessors. In terms of feel, Srixon has expanded its PureFrame technology in the ZXi7 irons to further improve feel and reduce vibrations. Additionally, the MainFrame variable face thickness technology has been incorporated into the ZXi4, ZXi5, and ZXiU irons to increase MOI and ball speeds, providing a better overall performance.

Srixon has also brought back some of its previous technologies in the ZXi irons, such as the Tour V.T. sole geometry which helps ensure clean contact through a combination of sole width, bounces, and notches. The irons also feature a progressive set of grooves with wider grooves on the longer irons for added forgiveness and tighter grooves on the scoring clubs for spin consistency. The series offers three models and a utility iron, all of which can be seamlessly blended together for optimal performance on the course.

The ZXi7 irons are designed for elite ball strikers with a shallow cavity for precision and workability, while the ZXi5 irons cater to players looking for distance and workability. The ZXi4 irons are game-improvement irons with a hollow-body construction for forgiveness. The ZXiU Utility iron comes in three lofts to provide players with options for boosting longer irons or using a penetrating driving iron. The lineup is priced affordably, with the iron sets available for $1,299 for a 7-piece set and the ZXiU Utility irons priced at $239.99 per club.

Overall, the new Srixon ZXi irons offer a combination of innovative technologies and materials to provide golfers with improved feel, distance, and workability on the course. The lineup is designed to cater to a variety of player types, from elite ball strikers to those looking for forgiveness and distance. With a focus on balancing and strengthening each iron through specific materials and forging processes, Srixon has aimed to create a lineup that provides immediate feedback at contact and maximizes energy transfer at impact. Golfers looking to upgrade their iron game may want to consider the new Srixon ZXi irons for improved performance on the course.
