Russell Henley emerged victorious at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill after finishing with a two-under 70 on the final round. He won by one shot over Collin Morikawa after chipping in for eagle on the par-5 16th hole and holding on for the win. This victory earned him $4 million and marked the fifth PGA Tour win of his career, the biggest among all his victories. Henley remained steady throughout the final round, ultimately coming out on top despite a strong performance from Morikawa.

The final round of the tournament saw Morikawa starting with a one-shot lead over Henley and extending it to two with a birdie on the 1st hole. He maintained his lead until a costly bogey on the par-3 14th allowed Henley to close the gap. Henley capitalized on Morikawa’s mistake by sinking a birdie, setting up a tense finish to the event. With the leaderboard tightening, the competition intensified as players at eight under also came within striking distance of the lead, making the final holes crucial in determining the winner.

Key to Henley’s victory was the dramatic turn of events on the 16th hole, where he chipped in for eagle while Morikawa struggled to make a birdie. This pivotal moment shifted the momentum in Henley’s favor, allowing him to secure the victory. The pressure was further heightened by the performance of other players in contention, including Jason Day and Corey Conners, who made key moves on the back nine. However, it was Henley’s composure and clutch play that ultimately sealed the win, showcasing his skill and experience on the PGA Tour.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational offered a total purse of prize money, with Henley claiming the lion’s share for his victory. His earnings of $4 million reflected the significance of winning a Signature Event on the PGA Tour and solidified his status as a top competitor in professional golf. Despite the challenging course conditions and tough competition, Henley’s performance stood out as he maintained his focus and produced the shots needed to secure the win. The victory marked a milestone in his career and demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes tournaments.

Henley’s triumph at Bay Hill will be remembered as a standout moment in the 2025 golf season, showcasing his skills and determination in a highly competitive field. His ability to rise to the occasion and deliver when it mattered most highlighted his talent and experience as a professional golfer. The Arnold Palmer Invitational provided a fitting stage for Henley’s victory, as he outperformed his peers and emerged as the deserving champion. With this win, Henley has cemented his place among the top players on the PGA Tour and set the stage for future successes in his career.
