The final round of the 2025 Players Championship has been moved up a couple of hours on Sunday morning due to inclement weather in the forecast for Sunday afternoon. The PGA Tour announced that the final round will be played in threesomes, on split tees, with tee times starting between 8 a.m. and 10:01 a.m. ET. If play is not completed before severe weather hits the area and play is suspended, there is still a chance the tournament can finish later Sunday after a delay, otherwise, it will be a Monday finish. The tournament leader, J.J. Spaun, is sitting at 12 under, with Bud Cauley one back at 11 under.

Viewers can watch the final round of the Players Championship on Golf Channel and NBC. The TV window has also moved due to the tee time change. Golf Channel’s broadcast is now from 10 a.m. to noon ET, with NBC picking up coverage from noon until 3 p.m. The final round can also be streamed on Peacock via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, with early and featured group coverage beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The 2025 Players Championship Round 4 tee times have been adjusted to accommodate the earlier start time. Players will be teeing off in threesomes, starting either at tee No. 1 or tee No. 10. Some of the notable tee times include Rory McIlroy in the penultimate grouping at 9:50 a.m., and the final threesome of Bud Cauley, Lucas Glover, and leader J.J. Spaun teeing off at 10:01 a.m. A number of other top golfers are also within striking distance as they head into the final round.

This year’s Players Championship promises to be an exciting finish as the golfers contend with the earlier start time to avoid the impending inclement weather. The final round will be crucial in determining this year’s champion, with J.J. Spaun leading the pack heading into Sunday. Fans can tune in to watch the action unfold on Golf Channel and NBC, or stream it live on Peacock via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+. Stay updated on the latest leaderboard standings and results as the players battle it out at TPC Sawgrass for the prestigious Players Championship title.
