LIV Golf Miami was an electric event featuring top players like Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, and Joaquin Niemann. The tournament had a welcoming and creator-friendly vibe, different from other professional events. The YouTube stars also added to the excitement with their pre-tournament exhibition, The Duals, where they competed alongside pro partners. The teams included players like Sergio Garcia, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, and more. The closed-door practice days allowed content creators and media to get exclusive access to the players and the golf course.

One of the highlights from the event was Bryson DeChambeau’s Avoda and LA Golf prototype irons. Bryson, known for his unique approach to the game, had these irons customized to optimize his toe strikes and harmonize with his swing path. The LA Golf Bryson Series Single Length Iron Shafts used in his irons are designed to maximize stability and control, allowing all players to hit more greens consistently. Phil Mickelson also had a custom set of machine-milled Callaway X-Forged irons that featured a unique grind on the soles to help them get through the turf faster.

Joaquin Niemann’s bag featured a Ping G430 5 Hybrid instead of a traditional 4-iron. Niemann, with his fast ball speed, needed a club that could help him launch the ball higher with more spin to keep it in the air. The Ping G430 Custom Hybrid he used is designed to deliver more distance and green-holding stopping power, making it an ideal mid-iron replacement for players looking to fill distance gaps in their game. Wesley Bryan also had an interesting setup with two 4-irons in his bag, showcasing the importance of getting properly fitted for your clubs.

Overall, the players’ bags at LIV Golf Miami featured a mix of custom clubs, innovative shaft designs, and unique setups tailored to their specific playing styles. The event was a great showcase of the creativity and customization that goes into professional golf equipment.
