The 2025 Masters week at Augusta National Golf Club has started off with rainy weather, causing a delay in the opening of the patron gates on Monday. The forecast predicts up to 1.5 inches of rain, with the potential for thunderstorms throughout the week. The course was evacuated on Monday due to inclement weather, but the rest of the week is expected to be cooler with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds are expected to be in the 7-14 mph range for most of the competition rounds, providing a challenging test for the field of 95 players.

There is a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, although it is not expected to impact play significantly. The weather forecast for the 2025 Masters week does not resemble the conditions that led to a delayed and waterlogged tournament two years ago, when Jon Rahm played 30 holes on Sunday to win. The 2025 Masters weather forecast from the National Weather Service shows a mix of rainy and sunny days, with temperatures ranging from the 40s to 70s throughout the week.

Monday’s forecast calls for rain and scattered thunderstorms, with a high of 72°F and winds gusting up to 25 mph. Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, breezy, and cool with temperatures ranging from 48°F to 68°F. Wednesday will start off cold but will be mostly sunny and cool with temperatures ranging from 43°F to 68°F. Thursday will be partly cloudy and warmer with temperatures ranging from 46°F to 76°F, and winds shifting from SE to SW at 7-14 mph.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers, temperatures ranging from 53°F to 71°F, and winds at 7-14 mph. Saturday will start off sunny and become partly cloudy with a 20% chance of an afternoon shower, temperatures ranging from 47°F to 67°F, and winds at 6-12 mph. Sunday is expected to be sunny with no chance of rain, temperatures ranging from 42°F to 72°F, and winds to be determined.

Overall, the 2025 Masters week at Augusta National is expected to be challenging due to the weather conditions. Players will need to be prepared for varying temperatures, rain showers, and gusty winds throughout the competition rounds. The forecast shows a mix of rainy and sunny days, with the potential for some disruptions in play due to weather. Despite the challenges, the 2025 Masters is sure to provide an exciting and competitive tournament for both players and fans alike.
