Rory McIlroy finally fulfilled a quest that lasted over a decade as he completed a career Grand Slam by winning the Masters.

It had been a mission that was nearly 11 years in the making following his win at the 2014 PGA Championship.

But the Northern Irishman was able to survive a tense play-off round with Justin Rose at Augusta to be able to finally wear the famous Green Jacker for the first time.

However, there will be a very short rest period for the star, who is scheduled to be back in action soon.

Indeed, he faces a gruelling schedule as he is set to compete in seven tournaments over the next eight weeks.

So, when exactly will he play next in his first tournament as Masters champion?

Rory McIlroy became one of only six men to achieve a career Grand Slam in golf by winning the Masters in 2025

McIlroy’s first tournament as a Grand Slam winner will see him travel to the Swiss city of Zurich on April 24, where he will compete in a team event with his countryman Shane Lowry.

He will then go on to play at the Truist Championship (previously the Wells Fargo Championship) which begins on May 8.

That is followed up by the second major of the year in the PGA Championship, which will be held over the weekend of May 15 to May 18 – taking place at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina.

That will be followed by what appears as a much-needed 10-day break for the new Masters champion.

From May 29 to June 1, the Memorial Signature event will occur at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio.

A trip to Canada is also scheduled to be sandwich in between The Memorial and the US Open, with the Canadian Open getting underway on June 5.

The third major of the year – and the final on American shores – sees McIlroy compete at the US Open from June 12 to June 15.

The Northern Irishman will be hoping to lift the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club this year, the same venue where he won the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship

This year, the prestigious tournament will welcome players to Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas.

Finally, he will round of a hectic set of upcoming matches with an appearance at the Travelers Championship just under a week later on June 15.

While it is certainly a busy time to contend with, McIlroy will not be phased.

Including the illustrious Masters title, he has won three events already this season, with his other victories coming in The Players Championship and the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
