Fujikura Ventus TR Blue Enhanced with VeloCore+ Technology

Fujikura Launches the New Ventus TR Blue Shaft for 2026: A Game Changer in Golf Technology

Since its introduction in 2019, Fujikura’s Ventus series has revolutionized the golf shaft market, achieving remarkable success. The recent launch of the Ventus TR Blue marks a significant upgrade, featuring advanced VeloCore+ technology and innovative design elements aimed at enhancing performance on the course.

Key Features of the Ventus TR Blue

The new Ventus TR Blue introduces several enhancements compared to its predecessor, focusing on stability and performance. At the core of this upgrade is the VeloCore+ technology, which incorporates a multi-material bias core aimed at delivering superior torsional stability. This development ensures greater accuracy and consistency during play.

Using Fujikura’s advanced Enso 3D motion capture system, engineers meticulously analyzed the bending and twisting of shafts throughout the swing to innovate VeloCore+. The goal was twofold: to enhance stability and to optimize how the shaft stores and releases energy, ultimately increasing ball speed.

“The original TR Blue was such a trusted profile, so we wanted to keep what golfers already loved and see how far we could take it with VeloCore+. As soon as testing began, the improvements were clear. We saw more stability, better centeredness of contact, and over 80% of players reported increased clubhead speed. Players also experienced better clubface awareness and overall stability, aligning perfectly with performance data.” — TJ Spidle, Product Manager at Fujikura

Innovative Design Elements

A standout feature of the Ventus TR Blue is the incorporation of spread tow carbon fiber, specifically located near the handle section, just below the grip. This ultra-thin and lightweight material enhances the stiffness of that area, addressing common stress points in golfers’ swings.

For 2026, Fujikura adjusted the orientation of the spread tow carbon fiber from a 45-degree angle to a zero-degree setting, offering improved stiffness for players who generate significant loading on the shaft.

Performance Characteristics

The Ventus TR Blue retains many characteristics of the original TR Blue but features some nuanced improvements. The handle section is slightly stiffer, while the mid-section is a touch softer. Crucially, the tip area remains unchanged, ensuring that players experience a mid-launch and low spin akin to the original shaft.

Availability and Pricing

Golf enthusiasts can expect to see the Ventus TR Blue available at authorized Fujikura dealers and fitters starting January 9, 2026. With a price point of $350, this shaft promises to be a valuable addition for golfers seeking to improve their game.
