The 2024 PGA Tour season is in full swing, and golf fans are excited to see which drivers are being used by the pros to win on tour. With 19 events having taken place so far, TaylorMade leads the way with six victories, followed by Srixon, Ping, Titleist, and Callaway with multiple wins each. Mizuno also has one victory on the year. Examining the winning drivers not only gives insight into the year’s events but also showcases the top technology being used by professional golfers.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans using the TaylorMade Qi10 and Srixon ZX5 MkII drivers, respectively. McIlroy’s key driving stat from the week was a crucial bomb off the tee on the 18th hole, setting up a birdie in a playoff that ultimately led to their victory. Scottie Scheffler also had a notable win at the RBC Heritage with the TaylorMade Qi10 driver, showcasing impressive driving accuracy and distance throughout the tournament.

Billy Horschel claimed victory at the Corales Puntacana Championship with the Titleist TSR3 driver, demonstrating solid driving accuracy en route to his eighth career PGA Tour title. Scottie Scheffler continued his winning streak at the Masters Tournament with the TaylorMade Qi10 driver, showcasing his exceptional driving distance at Augusta National. Akshay Bhatia also had a standout performance at the Valero Texas Open with the Callaway Rogue ST Max LS driver, ranking sixth in strokes gained/off the tee throughout the week.

Stephan Jaeger secured a win at the Texas Children’s Houston Open with the Ping G430 LST driver, showcasing his ability to find the fairway consistently after a shaky start off the tee. Peter Malnati’s victory at the Valspar Championship was fueled by the Titleist TSR3 driver, despite being ranked lower in driving accuracy and distance. Scottie Scheffler continued his success at the Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational with the TaylorMade Qi10 driver, dominating in strokes gained/off the tee and driving accuracy.

Brice Garnett had a standout performance at the Puerto Rico Open with the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond driver, showcasing accuracy off the tee despite not ranking high in driving distance. Austin Eckroat’s win at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches was powered by the Ping G430 LST driver, demonstrating solid strokes gained/off the tee and driving accuracy. Jake Knapp earned a victory at the Mexico Open with the Ping G425 LST driver, showcasing improved driving accuracy and distance compared to previous events.

Hideki Matsuyama’s success at the Genesis Invitational was attributed to the Srixon ZX5 LS Mk II driver, showcasing consistent performance in strokes gained/off the tee and driving distance. Nick Taylor claimed victory at the WM Phoenix Open with the Titleist TSi3 driver, displaying steady work off the tee despite challenging weather conditions. Wyndham Clark’s win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was fueled by the Titleist TSR3 driver, with strong performances in strokes gained/tee to green and driving distance.

Matthieu Pavon made history by becoming the first Frenchman to win on the PGA Tour since 1906 at the Farmers Insurance Open with the Ping G430 Max driver, demonstrating solid driving accuracy and distance throughout the week. Nick Dunlap, playing in just his fourth PGA Tour event, secured a victory at The American Express with the TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver, showcasing impressive driving distance. Grayson Murray also had a noteworthy win at the Sony Open in Hawaii with the Mizuno ST-X 230 driver, leading in strokes gained/tee to green and driving distance.

Overall, the 2024 PGA Tour season has been filled with exciting wins and standout performances by professional golfers showcasing the latest in driver technology. As the season progresses, fans can look forward to more thrilling events and impressive displays of skill from the pros as they compete for victory on tour.
