The Keiser family, known for their successful Bandon Dunes golf resort, has announced the creation of a brand-new public golf resort called Wild Spring Dunes in Texas. This new facility will be the fourth property in the family’s golf empire, following in the footsteps of Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley properties. Wild Spring Dunes will be part of the second phase of golf resorts, announced a year after the construction of the Rodeo Dunes property near Denver.

Wild Spring Dunes will be a full-service, publicly accessible golf resort with luxury accommodations and dining options. The focus will be on golf, with renowned course architects like Tom Doak and Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw designing courses on the property. The land, spanning 2,400 acres, features diverse ecosystems including forests, meadows, hills, and ravines, reminiscent of prestigious golf destinations like Pine Valley and Pinehurst.

Michael Keiser, the namesake and oldest son of the Keiser family, expressed excitement about the unique features of the Texas property, highlighting the unexpected pine forests, steep ravines, and rolling hills. The location of Wild Spring Dunes, roughly two hours from Dallas, Houston, and Shreveport, offers convenient access to major cities and international travel hubs. This proximity sets it apart from other remote golf destinations, making it a more accessible option for golf enthusiasts.

A “Founders Membership” program will be available at Wild Spring Dunes, offering benefits to members who contribute a refundable $65,000 deposit. Benefits include early access to the property, preferred real estate selections, and exclusive golf privileges such as tee times, tournaments, and lodging. The resort’s official website and social media accounts will provide updates for those eagerly anticipating the opening of the property.

While an official opening date for Wild Spring Dunes has not been announced, it is expected to debut after the completion of the Keiser family’s next project, Rodeo Dunes, in early 2025. The new Texas property represents the family’s continued investment in the resort golf market, providing an exciting addition to the state’s golf scene. With its diverse landscapes and world-class course designs, Wild Spring Dunes is poised to become a premier destination for golfers seeking a unique and memorable experience.

In conclusion, the announcement of Wild Spring Dunes marks a significant milestone in the Keiser family’s golf empire, expanding their portfolio with a new public golf resort in Texas. With renowned course architects and diverse ecosystems, the property promises to deliver an exceptional golf experience for enthusiasts. The convenient location and exclusive membership options add to the anticipation surrounding the opening of Wild Spring Dunes, setting the stage for a successful addition to the resort golf market. Golf enthusiasts and travelers alike can look forward to exploring this exciting new destination in the near future.
