Bettinardi introduces zero-torque putters in the Antidote Series

Bettinardi is making waves in the golf world with their latest releases, the Antidote SB1 and Antidote SB2 putters. These putters are part of the zero-torque craze that has been sweeping the golf industry. Zero-torque putters are designed with the center of gravity in the center of the putter head, directly below the shaft axis. This design helps to prevent twisting during the stroke, leading to a more consistent and stable putting motion. The Antidote SB1 features a blade design, while the Antidote SB2 is a mallet putter.

Each putter in the Antidote series has been meticulously crafted over two years to perfect every detail. Bettinardi president Sam Bettinardi explained, “With our Simply Balanced technology, golfers can maintain square-to-square balance throughout the entire stroke, enhancing consistency and confidence.” The putters also feature Bettinardi’s F.I.T. (Feel Impact Technology) face milling, which provides a soft feel at impact while maintaining responsiveness. The diamond blast finish on the body of the SB2 and the sapphire blue finish on the insert of the SB1 create a visually striking contrast.

The shaft of the Antidote putters enters the head with a negative offset, forcing players to start their stroke with a forward press. This design helps players avoid any face opening that may occur when starting the stroke. The Antidote SB1 and SB2 are available for preorder in standard and counterbalanced configurations on Bettinardi.com and Fairway Jockey for $430. The official release date for these putters is scheduled for January 24, 2025.

The Antidote SB1 weighs 360g, with a 400g counterbalance option available. It is made of 303 Stainless Steel with a 6061 Aluminum pocket insert. The Antidote SB2 is built with the same materials and finishes as the SB1. Both putters feature a 3-degree loft, 70-degree lie, -1 degree offset, and a -90 degree toe hang. These specifications are designed to promote a smooth and stable putting stroke for golfers of all skill levels.

Bettinardi’s 2025 Antidote putters are equipped with Simply Balanced technology, which positions the center of gravity at the perfect spot to keep the head naturally on path and square throughout the stroke. The F.I.T. Face milling on these putters removes 55% of the face material to create a soft and responsive feel at impact. The Diamond Blast finish reduces glare at address, while the Sapphire Blue T-Alignment and Anodized 6061 Aluminum insert add a touch of style to these high-performing putters.

For golfers looking to enhance their putting game with the latest technology and craftsmanship, the Bettinardi Antidote SB1 and SB2 putters offer a winning combination of performance and precision. With their zero-torque design and innovative features, these putters are sure to make a statement on the greens. Preorder your Antidote putter today and experience the difference that Bettinardi’s expertise can make in your game.
