Curtis Cup Stars Shine at Ladies European Tour Q-School, Securing Victories

As the year 2024 comes to a close, players in various golf circuits are competing to secure their status. In the Ladies European Tour, 24 players have now earned their memberships through Q-School, which was held at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech. The top 20 and ties were able to secure a card, and Ecuadorian golfer Daniela Darquea emerged as the leader with a 24-under total, securing a one-stroke victory over Wales’ Darcey Harry. Darquea expressed her happiness and pride in achieving her goal at Q-School, highlighting the fun she had during the competition.

Among the players who qualified for the 2025 Ladies European Tour were 2024 Curtis Cup stars Sara Byrne and Mimi Rhodes, who recently turned professional. Denmark’s Cecilie Finne-Ipsen delivered the round of the week with a 10-under-par final round of 63 to secure her full playing rights. A total of 18 countries were represented in the 24 spots, showcasing the diversity and global reach of the tournament.
