Dream Golf, the renowned developer behind Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley, has recently received approval to move forward with their latest project, Old Shores, a new golf development on the Florida Panhandle. This project will feature an 18-hole public course designed by Tom Doak, known for his work on prestigious golf courses around the world. Dream Golf’s Michael Keiser has described the site as a prehistoric and geographically ambiguous location that will offer a unique and exciting golfing experience reminiscent of Scotland. The approval from Washington County, Fla., allows Dream Golf to expand their portfolio, which already includes properties in Oregon, Wisconsin, Texas, and Colorado.

Old Shores is strategically located approximately 30 miles north of the Panama City airport and easily accessible from the 30A corridor along the Gulf Coast of Florida. The site’s sandy acreage and one-of-a-kind geography make it an ideal location for creating a world-class golfing experience. With the approval from the county, Dream Golf can now move forward with the development of Old Shores and continue adding to their impressive collection of golf destinations.

The Keiser brothers, Chris and Michael, oversee the day-to-day operations of Dream Golf, a company founded by their father, Mike Keiser, the developer of Bandon Dunes. Under their leadership, the company has expanded to include Bandon Dunes in Oregon, Sand Valley in Wisconsin, Rodeo Dunes in Colorado, and Wild Spring Dunes in Texas. The addition of Old Shores in Florida further solidifies Dream Golf’s position as a leading developer of top-tier golf courses across the country.

The announcement of Old Shores comes at a busy time for Dream Golf, as they continue to enhance their existing properties and embark on new resort developments. The company’s commitment to working with renowned architects and creating unparalleled golf experiences has earned them a reputation for excellence in the industry. With Old Shores poised to become another standout destination, golf enthusiasts can look forward to another world-class course from Dream Golf.

While a construction timeline for Old Shores has yet to be announced, interested individuals can visit the project’s website, oldshores.com, for updates and more information. As Dream Golf moves forward with this exciting new development, golfers can anticipate an unforgettable golfing experience that showcases the natural beauty and unique geography of the Florida Panhandle. Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of Old Shores and the latest developments from Dream Golf.
