TaylorMade has introduced the all-new P·790 irons, the latest addition to their P·Series irons line. These irons are designed to deliver increased carry distance, premium forged feel, and a larger sweet spot for added consistency and performance on the golf course. The P·790 irons will be available for preorder on Feb. 18 and for purchase in retail outlets on Mar. 13. With a price tag of $1,399.99 USD in steel shafts and $1,499.99 USD in graphite shafts for a seven-piece set, the P·790 irons promise to revolutionize the Players Distance category with their innovative features.

One of the key features of the all-new P·790 irons is the use of a new forged face material, 4340M, which is 20% stronger than previous models. This material allows engineers to design a thinner and faster face, resulting in faster ball speeds and longer carry distances for golfers. Compared to the previous model, the new P·790 irons offer up to a 24% larger sweet spot, ensuring consistent distance and performance from top to bottom of the set.

In addition to the new face material, the P·790 irons feature individual head optimization for a premium forged feel and sound. Through T-modal analysis, each head has been strategically engineered to control frequencies that dictate impact feel and sound, enhancing the overall experience for players. The irons also offer easy launch and more stability, thanks to strategic repositioning of up to 40g of tungsten internally and FLTD CG™.

The P·790 irons also incorporate proven TaylorMade technologies such as Thick-Thin Back Wall Construction and Thru-Slot Speed Pocket™ to optimize mass placement in each club for consistent performance characteristics. SpeedFoam™ Air fills the hollow body construction, ensuring a crisp and responsive feel on every shot. The irons have been redesigned with a new premium player’s inspired shape, featuring a slimmed down topline and unique sole designs for improved turf interaction and impact locations.

The P·790 irons are available in 4-iron through approach wedge in both right and left-handed options. The stock steel shaft is the KBS Tour, available in regular, stiff, and extra-stiff flex, while the stock graphite shaft is the Mitsubishi Chemical MMT. The stock grip is the Golf Pride Z-Grip, but shaft customization and upgrades are available for players looking to further customize their clubs. Overall, the P·790 irons promise to elevate the performance and enjoyment of golfers of all levels with their innovative design and advanced features.

Tour Edge has also introduced their all-new Hot Launch 525 Series, a groundbreaking line of game-improvement golf clubs designed to enhance performance for golfers seeking distance and forgiveness. The series includes both the X-range and the E-range, each tailored to meet specific player needs through advanced driver, fairway, hybrid, iron, and wedge designs.

The X-range features super-game-improvement clubs with anti-slice offset designs and ultra-shallow faces for easy launch and consistent playability. On the other hand, the E-range offers premium game-improvement clubs inspired by Exotics technology, providing enhanced forgiveness, power, and accuracy. Each range includes drivers, fairway metals, hybrids, irons, and wedges designed to elevate the performance of players seeking distance and forgiveness on the course.

The Hot Launch X525 Series includes a driver, fairway metal, hybrid, iron, and wedge, each designed to improve game performance through advanced technologies like extreme MOI, perimeter weighting, and deep undercut cavities. These clubs offer effortless launch, consistent playability, maximum forgiveness, and increased ball speeds for players seeking to enhance their game.

The Hot Launch E525 Series features a more traditional shape with optimal launch and spin rates, maximum MOI properties, and enhanced forgiveness and accuracy. These premium game-improvement clubs boast advanced technologies like a deep 360° Cup Face, VIBRCOR technology, and MOI-boosting weights to provide players with the ultimate in performance and playability on the course. Each club in the 525 Series comes equipped with high-performance shaft options to further enhance clubhead speed and consistency for players of all levels.

In conclusion, both TaylorMade and Tour Edge have introduced innovative and high-performance golf clubs with the P·790 irons and Hot Launch 525 Series, respectively. These clubs are designed to elevate the game of golfers seeking distance, forgiveness, and improved performance on the course. With advanced technologies, premium materials, and customizable options, these clubs are sure to enhance the playing experience for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pro looking for the latest technology or a beginner seeking to improve your game, the P·790 irons and Hot Launch 525 Series offer a winning combination of performance and innovation for the modern golfer.
