Scottish golfer Robert MacIntyre’s winning WITB (What’s in the Bag) at the 2021 Betfred British Masters included a range of top-performing clubs. MacIntyre, known for his consistent and precise play, relied on a Titleist TSR2 driver with a 9-degree loft and a D4 SureFit setting. The shaft used in this driver was a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7 X, known for its stability and control.

In addition to his driver, MacIntyre carried a Cobra Aerojet LS 3-wood with a 14.5-degree loft. The shaft used in this club was a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 X, which provided him with a perfect blend of distance and accuracy. For long approach shots, MacIntyre trusted his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Rescue hybrid with a 19-degree loft. This club was equipped with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 105 X shaft, allowing MacIntyre to hit precise shots with ease.

MacIntyre’s iron set consisted of Titleist 620 CB irons from 4-9. These irons were paired with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts, known for their consistent performance and feel. When it came to his wedges, MacIntyre opted for a mix of Titleist Vokey Design SM10 and SM9 wedges, along with a custom WedgeWorks 60-08K wedge. These wedges were equipped with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 Onyx and S400 Onyx shafts for added control and spin around the greens.

The putter of choice for MacIntyre was a TaylorMade Spider Tour model, paired with a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol grip for improved stability and feel. To complete his winning setup, MacIntyre used Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for consistent performance throughout the tournament. The grips on his clubs included Golf Pride Z-Grip Cord for the woods and Grip Master grips for the irons, providing him with the necessary feel and control for every shot.

Overall, Robert MacIntyre’s winning WITB showcased a well-thought-out combination of clubs that catered to his playing style and preferences. With a mix of top-performing brands like Titleist, Cobra, TaylorMade, Graphite Design, and True Temper, MacIntyre was able to deliver a dominant performance at the British Masters. For golfers looking to improve their game, MacIntyre’s WITB serves as a great example of how a well-fitted set of clubs can make a difference on the course.
