Bubba Watson secured his third victory at the Travelers Championship in 2018 by making an incredible comeback, erasing a six-stroke deficit with a final-round 7-under 63 to finish at 14 under par. Watson expressed his love for the course, stating that he feels it is like his home course and always signs up for the tournament as soon as the schedule is released. He highlighted the sentimental value of the win, mentioning that his father was able to witness his victory in 2010 and his qualification for the Ryder Cup at the same event. This victory held special meaning for his family.

Looking back at what Bubba Watson had in his golf bag six years ago, he used a Ping G400 LST driver with Grafalloy Bi-Matrix Pink X-Flex shaft and a Ping G 3-wood with a Fujikura Tour Spec 8.2X shaft. For his irons, Watson had a Ping iBlade 2 iron and Ping S55 4-PW with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts. His wedges were Ping Glide 2.0 with various lofts and shafts, and he used a Ping PLD Anser putter with a Ping Pistol grip.
