Hideki Matsuyama recently won the PGA Tour’s FedEx St. Jude Championship, showcased his talent with a variety of top-notch golf equipment. His winning set included a Srixon ZX5 Mk II LS driver with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 TX shaft, TaylorMade Qi10 and Cobra King RadSpeed Tour fairway woods with Graphite Design Tour AD DI shafts, Srixon Z-Forged II irons with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts, Cleveland RTX 4 Forged prototype wedges with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts, a Scotty Cameron Handcrafted Squareback Bullet Bottom prototype putter, Srixon Z-Star XV golf balls, and Iomic X grips.

Starting with his driver, Matsuyama used the Srixon ZX5 Mk II LS with a 9.5-degree loft and a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 TX shaft. This combination provided him with the power and control needed to navigate the course successfully. Moving on to his fairway woods, Matsuyama utilized the TaylorMade Qi10 (15 degrees) and Cobra King RadSpeed Tour (17.5 degrees), both equipped with Graphite Design Tour AD DI shafts. These clubs allowed him to hit long and accurate shots from the fairway with ease.

When it came to his irons, Matsuyama relied on the Srixon Z-Forged II (4-9) with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts. These irons helped him achieve precise ball striking and consistent distances throughout the tournament. For his wedges, Matsuyama chose the Cleveland RTX 4 Forged prototype in 48, 52, 56, and 60-degree lofts, paired with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts. These wedges offered him versatility around the greens and in various lie conditions.

Matsuyama’s putter of choice was the Scotty Cameron Handcrafted Squareback Bullet Bottom prototype, which provided him with the feel and alignment needed to sink critical putts under pressure. The Srixon Z-Star XV golf ball was the final piece in Matsuyama’s winning equipment setup, delivering the performance and consistency required for his game. Additionally, Matsuyama opted for Iomic X grips on all his clubs, ensuring a comfortable and secure hold throughout his swing.
