In the 2024 PGA Tour season, the top 125 players in the FedEx Cup points earned status on the PGA Tour for the following year. Sam Ryder was able to secure the 125th and final spot, ensuring that he would retain his Tour card for 2025. However, changes are on the horizon as starting in the 2026 season, the number of players who will clinch status will be reduced to the top 100.
