Kris McCormack and Wadeh Maroun are the new faces on GOLF’s Fully Equipped podcast, Kris transitioning into a new role as the Head of ClubTest and Gear Data, and Wadeh joining as the president of Fairway Jockey. Wadeh, originally from Melbourne, Australia, moved to the United States in 2013 after quitting his job and traveling around the country, eventually settling in Arizona and getting into the golf business.
Wadeh’s journey to Fairway Jockey included working at PetSmart and a supplement company before landing a role at PXG leading their digital marketing. He eventually made his way to Fairway Jockey two years later. Kris, also known as the “Cereal Killer” due to his diet of cereal in college, started on the Fully Equipped podcast in January 2021 as True Spec’s VP of Tour and Education. With six years of experience in club fitting, Kris is now excited to be more involved with gear, releases, and working with OEM partners.
Both Kris and Wadeh have a passion for golf, with Kris being a self-proclaimed “Disney adult” and having an obsession with SWAG Golf headcovers. They both share what they carry in their golf bags on the podcast. Kris’s new role allows him to create content, continue the podcast, and work with various companies within the 8AM Golf umbrella, bridging the gap between different golf companies.
For golf enthusiasts looking to overhaul their bag, True Spec Golf offers fitting locations to help improve their game. As the new hosts of the Fully Equipped podcast, Kris and Wadeh bring a fresh perspective and expertise to the show, sharing their experiences and insights from the golf industry. Stay tuned to learn more about their backgrounds and how they got to where they are today in the golf world.
