The 2025 ISCO Championship is on the move to Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville after being held at Keene Trace Golf Club for six years. Harry Hall claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the ISCO Championship through a five-man playoff on July 14. ISCO chairman and CEO Jimmy Kirchdorfer expressed excitement about the move, promising improvements to elevate the event and showcase the new location on TV.

As a FedEx Cup event, the ISCO Championship made its debut on the PGA Tour schedule in 2015 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National in Alabama before relocating to the Bluegrass State. This change follows ISCO being named as the title sponsor through 2027, with the Louisville-based company boasting a range of piping solutions for applications worldwide. The upcoming tournament is set to bring fresh energy and excitement to golf fans in Louisville.

Louisville recently hosted the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in May, where Xander Schauffele emerged victorious. However, the event was marred by tragedy as a vendor employee was killed in a shuttle bus accident ahead of the tournament’s second round. Top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler also found himself in hot water after being arrested and released by Louisville Metro Police on the same day. Scheffler later clarified the incident as a misunderstanding.

With sports events like the PGA Championship and now the ISCO Championship coming to Louisville, the city has become a hub for major golf tournaments. In addition to golf, Louisville also boasts a strong presence in football, women’s basketball, and baseball. Sports journalist Alexis Cubit covers Louisville’s sports scene and can be reached via email at acubit@gannett.com. Stay updated on all things Louisville sports by following her on social media.

The move of the ISCO Championship to Hurstbourne Country Club marks an exciting new chapter for the tournament and for golf fans in Louisville. With a promising lineup of players and a stunning new location, the event is set to attract golf enthusiasts from near and far. The partnership with ISCO as the title sponsor ensures the tournament’s success and longevity, solidifying its place on the PGA Tour schedule for years to come. Get ready to witness top-notch golfing action and unforgettable moments at the 2025 ISCO Championship.
