Cleveland Golf has introduced their latest line of wedges, the RTZ and RTZ Tour Rack, featuring a new material called Z-Steel that improves feel and performance. This innovative alloy allows engineers to optimize the sweet spot by moving the center of gravity closer to the clubface, resulting in better consistency and performance around the greens. The RTZ wedges are 10% softer than their popular RTX 6 ZipCore predecessors, providing a pure feel and improved aesthetics.

Rust-proofing is a significant feature of the new RTZ Tour Rack wedges, ensuring longevity and consistent high-spin properties over time. The grooves and face texturing are crucial for generating spin, and Cleveland has engineered these wedges to maintain their performance without succumbing to rust. The raw finish of the RTZ Tour Rack is designed to appeal to golfers who prefer a weathered look but want to avoid groove edge deterioration.

Cleveland consulted with Tour players to develop four versatile grind options for the RTZ wedges: Low, Mid, Full, and a new Adapt grind tailored for open-faced shotmaking. Each leading edge is precision milled for accurate and consistent shape, enhancing turf interaction and overall performance. Golfers can also customize their wedges with various options such as finish, sole grinds, leading-edge curves, engraving, paint fill, and custom ferrules for a personalized look.

The 2025 RTZ wedges retain proven technologies from previous models, including HydraZip face milling for better spin in wet conditions, ZipCore technology for weight distribution, UltiZip grooves for increased spin, and Rotex milling for improved friction. The addition of the True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft, a popular choice among tour professionals, enhances the overall performance of the RTZ wedges. This combination of new and proven technologies ensures a high level of performance for a wide range of golfers.

Overall, the Cleveland RTZ wedges offer golfers a unique combination of innovation and customization options, allowing players to tailor their wedges to suit their individual preferences and playing style. The use of Z-Steel alloy enhances feel and performance, while the rust-proof design of the RTZ Tour Rack wedges ensures consistent high-spin properties over time. With versatile grind options and customization features, golfers can choose the RTZ wedges that best suit their needs, whether it be for open-faced shotmaking or overall accuracy and consistency around the greens.
