LIV Golf is a platform that boasts top golfing talent, including established names like Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka, alongside promising young players like 20-year-old Caleb Surratt. Surratt, a former standout at the University of Tennessee, joined Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII team last year and quickly made a name for himself by winning the SEC Championship and earning accolades such as SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-American. He also played a key role in the US Walker Cup victory.

Despite not receiving as much media attention as some of his peers, Surratt believes he is one of the best young golfers in the world based on his junior amateur success and recent performances. He is determined to prove himself on the pro circuit and has set ambitious goals for the upcoming season, including securing a spot in the PGA Championship and winning multiple tournaments. Surratt’s success and potential have drawn comparisons to fellow rising star David Puig, who has achieved significant success on the Asian Tour and qualified for multiple Majors.

While Surratt has shown promise on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf events, he remains humble and focused on his journey to qualify for Major championships through traditional means, such as tournament qualifying. He recognizes the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving his goals and looks to players like Puig as inspiration for his own career trajectory. Surratt is set to compete in upcoming tournaments, including the International Series India and the LIV Golf opener in Riyadh, as he aims to continue his ascent in the world rankings and establish himself as a top competitor in the sport.

As a young golfer with immense potential, Surratt is mindful of the steps needed to reach the next level in his career, including attaining a spot in the world’s top 100 and earning opportunities to compete in prestigious events like Major championships. He credits his success to his dedication to improving his game and learning from experienced mentors like Jon Rahm, who have helped shape his development as a professional golfer. Surratt’s ambition and drive to succeed are evident in his approach to competition and his unwavering commitment to achieving his goals in the sport.

With a strong foundation in collegiate golf and a growing list of achievements on the professional circuit, Surratt is poised to make a significant impact in the golfing world in the coming years. His talent, work ethic, and competitive spirit set him apart as a player to watch, and his continued success on the international stage will only further solidify his status as one of the game’s rising stars. As Surratt prepares for his upcoming tournaments and continues to hone his skills, fans and fellow players alike can expect to witness his continued growth and emergence as a force to be reckoned with in the world of golf.
