Callaway’s new range of tour-validated wedges, Opus and Opus Platinum, feature cutting-edge Spin Gen Face Technology that provides ultimate short game control. This technology combines three key elements on the face to enhance spin and control. The wedges offer a higher toe peak, leading edge radius, and easier hosel transitions for optimal performance. Players can choose from a variety of sole shapes to match their swing patterns, including the S grind, W grind, C grind, and T grind shapes.

The Spin Gen Face technology creates a more aggressive surface and groove on the wedges, resulting in enhanced control on shots into and around the green. The Opus wedges are available in brushed chrome, black shadow, or raw finish, with stock shaft options including True Temper Dynamic Gold MID 115g (steel) and UST Recoil DART HDC shaft 65g (graphite). The Opus Platinum wedges feature advancements from metal injection molding (MiM) and tungsten for launch control. Tungsten in the topline helps bring the flight lower for more control and spin into greens.

These new wedges have already proven popular on Tour, with major victories by players such as Xander Schauffele, Yuka Saso, Akshay Bhatia, Chris Kirk, and Ruoning Yin. At the 152nd Open Championship, players like Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard and Tom McKibbin will be using Opus wedges. Opus wedges will be available at retail from September 6, with the Opus priced at £179 per club and Opus Platinum at £229 per club.

The Opus Platinum wedges offer precision in construction and touch and feel customization through MiM Construction and incorporation of tungsten. The designs feature Spin Gen Face Technology for Tour-level spin and Tour-certified shaping. These wedges are available in both Blue and Chrome Finishes, with stock DG Mid 115 steel shafts and MCC gray black grips. The versatility and performance of these wedges make them a top choice for professional golfers and amateurs alike.

Callaway’s commitment to innovation and performance shines through in the design and technology of the Opus and Opus Platinum wedges. The Spin Gen Face Technology sets these wedges apart, providing players with unmatched spin and control around the green. The Tour validation of these wedges further solidifies their reputation as a top choice for elite golfers looking to improve their short game performance.

With a focus on enhancing spin and control, Callaway’s Opus and Opus Platinum wedges are set to revolutionize the short game experience for golfers of all skill levels. The incorporation of tungsten and MiM Construction in the Opus Platinum wedges further demonstrates Callaway’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of wedge technology. The success of these wedges on Tour only adds to their credibility and reputation as top performers in the world of golf equipment.

Overall, the combination of cutting-edge technology, precision construction, and Tour validation make the Opus and Opus Platinum wedges a must-have for any golfer looking to elevate their short game. The variety of options available, from sole shapes to finishes, ensures that players can find the perfect wedge to suit their individual needs and playing style. Callaway’s latest offering in wedges is sure to make a significant impact on the golfing world and become a staple in the bags of players at all levels of the game.
