St. Simons Island, Ga. was abuzz last week with the LPGA pro-am and this week it was the turn of WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark at the PGA Tour’s pro-am ahead of the RSM Classic. The 2024 season finale at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside and Plantation courses was set to begin on Thursday, but on Wednesday morning, Clark, dressed in all black, joined in on the fun. She was part of Zach Johnson’s group on the Plantation Course, along with PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan.

Despite a steady breeze blowing, Clark wasn’t afraid to tee off and give it her best shot. After a less-than-stellar shot, she quickly decided to reload and try again. The relaxed atmosphere of the pro-am allowed players like Clark to have some fun and showcase their skills. The event also saw Tom Brady playing in a group with defending champions Ludvig Aberg, adding to the star-studded lineup.

Monahan, who was playing in the same group as Clark, expressed his excitement at having her at the event and predicted even bigger things for her in the future. Despite only playing golf for a year and a half, Clark’s potential was evident as she launched some impressive drives down the fairway. The crowd was drawn to her presence on the course, highlighting the impact she has already made in the world of golf.

Clark’s performance at the RSM Classic pro-am further solidified her status as a rising star in the sports world. Her ability to compete at such a high level in both basketball and golf has garnered attention and praise from fans and fellow athletes alike. As she continues to hone her skills on the course, it is clear that Clark has a bright future ahead of her in golf.

The supportive and inclusive nature of events like the RSM Classic pro-am provide a platform for athletes like Clark to showcase their talents and engage with fans in a unique way. By bringing together top-tier professionals from different sports, these events create a sense of camaraderie and excitement that resonates with spectators and participants alike. Clark’s presence at the pro-am added an extra layer of excitement and energy to the event, further enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.

As the 2024 season finale got underway at Sea Island Golf Club, the buzz surrounding Clark’s participation in the RSM Classic pro-am continued to grow. Her performance on the course showcased her natural talent and determination, solidifying her status as a rising star in the world of golf.
