The 2024 BMW Championship is set to take place this week in Colorado as the second round of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Robert MacIntyre, who has already won twice on the PGA Tour this season, is one of the players to watch. Despite initial struggles after moving to the U.S. from Scotland, MacIntyre has turned his season around with victories at the RBC Canadian Open and the Genesis Scottish Open. Last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, he finished T7, moving him to 12th in the FedEx Cup standings.

As a long-shot pick, Robert MacIntyre comes into the BMW Championship with +5500 odds to win. Consider placing a bet on him to capture his third victory, which could earn you $550 for a $10 bet. Additionally, consider placing small bets on MacIntyre to finish in the top 10 and top 20 for extra insurance. If you’re looking for more long-shot bets for the BMW Championship, honorable mentions include Cameron Young (+5000) and Denny McCarthy (+6600).

In terms of the favorites for the BMW Championship, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler leads the way with +333 odds. Xander Schauffele follows closely behind at +550, with Rory McIlroy rounding out the top three with +1000 odds. Other notable contenders include Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama, Viktor Hovland, Ludvig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, Tommy Fleetwood, Sam Burns, Tony Finau, and Wyndham Clark.

With the BMW Championship being the final event before the Tour Championship, all eyes will be on the players as they battle it out for a chance to advance and potentially secure a spot in the FedEx Cup standings. Whether you’re looking to place a bet on a long-shot pick like Robert MacIntyre or prefer to go with the favorites such as Scottie Scheffler or Xander Schauffele, there are plenty of opportunities to get in on the action and enjoy some exciting golf.

Stay up to date with the latest BMW Championship odds and betting favorites by visiting BetMGM for a full list of odds and bets for this week’s event. Keep an eye on the leaderboard as the tournament progresses to see how your picks are performing and who emerges as the eventual winner. Don’t miss out on the excitement of the FedEx Cup Playoffs and the chance to witness some top-notch golf from the best players in the world.
