Bryson DeChambeau’s equipment setup is one-of-a-kind in professional golf, using clubs like a driver designed for the World Long Drive and single-length, 3D-printed irons that no other player is using. Despite using Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls, DeChambeau employs a unique test to reveal any manufacturing defects and test the balance of his golf balls. He floats them in a bucket of water mixed with Epsom salt to ensure they are not out of balance, a process that helps him maintain consistency in his shots.

DeChambeau’s method involves floating the golf balls in a solution to assess their balance, marking the top with a dot to ensure they are rolling over themselves. This helps him adjust the weight distribution of the golf ball to ensure straighter flight. By addressing the out-of-balanceness of his golf balls, DeChambeau aims to optimize their performance and achieve more consistent shot patterns on the course.

The Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls used by DeChambeau were originally created as a Customized Performance Option by Titleist in 2018 for their Tour staff. Due to positive feedback from players, the balls were eventually released to the public, offering a combination of characteristics from both the Pro V1 and Pro V1x models. These characteristics include a slightly firmer feel than the Pro V1x and a lower ball flight more similar to the Pro V1, allowing players to fine-tune their ball flights based on their preferences.

If you want to try the Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls that Bryson DeChambeau uses, you can order them from Fairway Jockey. These unique golf balls offer extraordinary distance with consistent flight, lower full swing spin, slightly lower flight than the Pro V1x, firmer feel, and drop-and-stop control on short game shots. By utilizing these specialized golf balls and implementing his unique testing process, DeChambeau aims to maximize his performance on the course and maintain a competitive edge against other professional golfers.

In addition to his equipment choices, DeChambeau’s attention to detail in testing and optimizing his golf balls demonstrates his commitment to achieving the best possible results in his game. By going the extra mile to ensure the balance and performance of his equipment, DeChambeau sets himself apart as a player who is willing to explore unconventional methods to gain an advantage on the course. As he continues to refine his approach and leverage cutting-edge technology in his game, DeChambeau remains a formidable competitor in the world of professional golf.
