The 2024 LPGA Tour season has seen a lot of uncertainty, with the first major of the year, the Amundi Evian Championship, taking place in France. Nelly Korda, the World No. 1, has recently struggled, missing three consecutive cuts for the first time in her career. Other players like Lilia Vu and Ally Ewing have stepped up, solidifying their positions as top contenders on the tour.

Past World No. 1s like Jin Young Ko and Atthaya Thitikul are also finding form, with Ko threatening late in the Women’s PGA and Thitikul winning her third career title at the Dow Championship. Celine Boutier, the defending Evian champion, has had a more challenging season but is still a player to watch out for.

As the Evian Championship approaches, there are 25 players to keep an eye on. Players like Nasa Hataoka, Rose Zhang, and Mao Saigo have shown promise despite recent poor form. Lydia Ko, Allisen Corpuz, and Hae Ran Ryu are also players expected to perform well at the major event.

Other players in contention include Patty Tavatanakit, Miyu Yamashita, Linn Grant, Ayaka Furue, and more. With a mix of experienced players and rising stars, the Evian Championship promises to be an exciting event with plenty of competition.

Players like Hannah Green, Brooke Henderson, Jin Young Ko, Yuka Saso, Ally Ewing, Atthaya Thitikul, and Lilia Vu are expected to be top contenders at the Evian Championship. Each player brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the event, making for a compelling competition.

While Nelly Korda has recently struggled, her consistent performance at the Evian Resort Course could be a turning point for her. Minjee Lee, Hyo Joo Kim, and other top-ranked players will also be looking to make their mark at the major event.

As the LPGA Tour heads into the first major of the season, the competition is fierce, with a mix of established players and rising stars vying for the prestigious title of the Evian Champion. With so much uncertainty in the air, it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top at the Amundi Evian Championship in France.
