In 2024, Xander Schauffele had an exceptional season in golf, winning two majors and showcasing his talent with the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver. Following this success, Callaway responded with the release of the Elyte Triple Diamond driver in 2025, aiming to build upon Schauffele’s achievements and establish itself as one of the best golf drivers of the year. The Elyte Triple Diamond boasts advanced technology focused on combining improved aerodynamics with enhanced forgiveness, challenging the traditional belief that fast head shapes are unforgiving.

The Elyte Triple Diamond features a slightly smaller footprint compared to other drivers in the range, with a lower spin profile and a neutral to fade bias ball flight. Two interchangeable weights allow for further customization in terms of spin, while a clean, glossy finish sets it apart from other drivers. The driver also introduces a new ‘Thermoforged’ aerospace-grade carbon crown, enabling fast ball speeds and optimal launch for improved performance on the course.

From a design perspective, the Elyte Triple Diamond stands out with its premium, high-end look featuring dark carbon accents and a glossy black finish. The clubhead is proportioned and shaped for optimal playability, with a deep face and squat head that appeals to better players in the market for a new driver. The driver’s aesthetic appeal combined with its performance capabilities make it a top contender in the golf equipment market.

During testing at Saunton Golf Club using TaylorMade TP5 golf balls and launch monitors, the Elyte Triple Diamond driver delivered exceptional results in terms of speed, spin, and playability. Compared to its predecessor, the Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond, the Elyte model showed slight improvements and greater forgiveness, making it easier to achieve tight dispersion even on off-center strikes.

The Elyte Triple Diamond driver also offers excellent maneuverability for shaping ball flights, with players finding it easy to produce draws and fades as desired. The driver’s feel is described as high-quality, with a muted and lower-pitched sensation upon impact, leading to explosive shots toward the target. Overall, the driver is praised for its stability, playability, and workability, making it a standout choice for serious golfers.

Priced at $629.99, the Elyte Triple Diamond driver is available in 9° and 10.5° heads for both right and left-handers, with an additional 8° head option in right-hand only. The driver comes with stock shaft options including the Artetera EC1 Blue, Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei 1K Black, and True Temper Denali Charcoal, offering players a variety of choices to suit their individual preferences and playing styles. With its combination of advanced technology, superior performance, and sleek design, the Elyte Triple Diamond driver is poised to make a lasting impact in the world of golf equipment in 2025.
