The Fujikura AXIOM graphite iron shaft is gaining popularity among professional golfers and skilled amateurs due to its ability to handle fast swings and offer more options in terms of weight and design. With the same VeloCore Technology as the VENTUS shaft, the AXIOM promises players consistency and shot control throughout their set.

The Fujikura AXIOM graphite iron shaft features a visually understated matte black design with white and grey graphics. The shaft also includes the VeloCore logo near the tip and a futuristic font to convey the technology involved in its design. The shaft provides a stout feel, giving players a consistent sensation swing after swing, without feeling rigid or harsh.

Available in three models for different iron types and three weight options, the Fujikura AXIOM offers a range of choices to suit various player preferences. The shaft is designed to deliver stability and control, even for aggressive swings, with sub-2° torque values in the heaviest model. The shaft’s performance includes lower launch and spin, as well as total control over ball flight.

During testing, the Fujikura AXIOM shaft at 105 grams in X flex delivered consistent launch and spin numbers, with minimal differences compared to heavier shafts. The shaft also provided improved dispersion and ball speed, allowing players to easily hit the ball high, left, or right without difficulty. Switching between the Long, Mid, and Short iron models resulted in minimal differences, showcasing the shaft’s versatility throughout the iron set.

Overall, the Fujikura AXIOM graphite iron shaft offers high-level golfers the opportunity to incorporate graphite into their irons for enhanced consistency and shot control. While the shaft may not be suitable for every player due to its price point, it is a cutting-edge option for those looking to optimize their performance on the course. To experience the benefits of the AXIOM, golfers are encouraged to give it a try and see the difference for themselves.
