Golf rangefinders have come a long way in terms of size and features, with compact models becoming more popular. Recently, the Voice Caddie Laser Fit and GolfBuddy Laser 2S Pro have impressed users with their small size and capabilities. The Mileseey IONME2 is the latest addition to the market, offering a unique green reading function that sets it apart from the competition. Despite being heavier than other compact rangefinders, the IONME2 feels premium and durable, with IP65 protection for dust and waterproof resistance.

The design of the IONME2 is unique, with a long rectangular shape that differs from the more common square rangefinders. The device comes with a clip for easy carrying, though some may prefer to attach it to their bag rather than their belt for a more fashion-forward look. The clip provides quick access to the device without the need for zippers or cases, making it convenient for on-the-go use. The green reading feature, called PinPoint, allows users to measure distance to the hole and slope percentage accurately, enhancing their putting skills.

The triangulation feature of the IONME2 allows for accurate readings even when the user is not standing next to the ball, making it ideal for cart path-only golf or providing distances to playing partners. The clear view through the device’s site, combined with easy-to-use modes and settings, makes it a user-friendly option despite its higher price point. Compared to the Mileseey GenePro S1, which also offers a green reading feature but is larger in size, the IONME2 is more compact and portable, fitting easily into a pocket for use on the green.

One drawback of the device is the limited height settings for accurate green readings, with only four-inch intervals available. However, users can adjust their height setting to ensure precision when using the device on the green. Overall, the IONME2 offers a wide range of features at a more affordable price point compared to other premium rangefinders on the market. Its compact size, durable build, and unique green reading function make it a standout option for golfers looking to improve their game with the help of technology. If you’re in the market for a compact, premium, and feature-packed rangefinder, the IONME2 is a solid choice.
