The Tour Response golf ball from Taylormade has been a favorite among club golfers worldwide, with many players choosing to use it in competitions. The 2025 remake of the Tour Response aims to build on the success of its predecessor by incorporating cutting-edge technology and materials. The new Tour Response golf balls feature Speed Wrapped Core Technology, which reduces the density of the core to promote faster ball speed and distance. The balls also have a 100% cast urethane cover for enhanced spin and durability.

The Tour Response is a 70-compression ball that provides a soft feel while maintaining the performance benefits of high-level materials. The Speed Wrapped Core is complemented by High Flex Material (HFM), allowing for increased ball/face interaction for improved feel and speed. TaylorMade’s Global Senior Category Director for golf balls, Mike Fox, praised the Speed Wrapped Core technology for its ability to deliver both ball speed and feel in a single product.

In terms of performance, the Tour Response impressed testers with its soft feel and responsive playability. The ball is softer at impact than the TP5x, making it ideal for players who prefer a more forgiving feel. The Tour Response also offers a higher launch window on pitch shots and ample spin on the green for most players. Although players with higher swing speeds may experience a slight drop in ball speed, the Tour Response still provides comparable performance to other models on the market.

The Tour Response is available in traditional white and yellow colors, as well as a new Stripe option in neon shades for enhanced alignment on the greens. The 360˚ clear path alignment stripe makes it easier to hit start lines on short putts, offering a visual aid for improved accuracy. Overall, the Tour Response is a versatile and effective golf ball that is likely to appeal to a wide range of players in 2025.

The standard Tour Response balls retail for $42.99/£37.99 per dozen, while the Stripe option is priced at $45.99/£39.99 per dozen. With its combination of soft feel, durability, and visual technology, the Tour Response is poised to be a popular choice for golfers looking for a reliable and high-performing ball in the new year. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, the Tour Response offers a great blend of performance and playability, making it a top contender in the competitive golf ball market.
