The 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club has reached the halfway point with Xander Schauffele holding a one-shot lead on Collin Morikawa. Despite having 12 top-10 finishes in majors, Schauffele is still searching for his first major win. In third place, two shots behind Schauffele, is Sahith Theegala, ranked No. 23 in the world at just age 26. However, all eyes are on Scottie Scheffler, the World No. 1 and reigning Masters champion, who is three shots off the lead despite a recent arrest outside the golf club.

Due to delays in play, the PGA of America had to adjust the plans for the third round. The 78 players who made the cut will now play in threesomes off both the first and 10th tees. The complete tee times for the third round include some notable groupings, such as Cameron Smith, Max Homa, and Jordan Spieth teeing off together at 11:28 AM. Other groupings include Justin Thomas, Keegan Bradley, and Lucas Herbert at 12:34 PM, and Bryson DeChambeau, Austin Eckroat, and Viktor Hovland at 1:18 PM. Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Sahith Theegala will tee off at 1:40 PM.

Despite the changes to the schedule, the competition remains fierce as players vie for the coveted PGA Championship title. With major champions and rising stars in the mix, the leaderboard promises an exciting finish to the tournament. The Valhalla Golf Club provides a challenging course for the players, testing their skills and mental fortitude. Fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the championship and hoping to see history made with a breakthrough victory for one of the contenders.

The drama surrounding Scottie Scheffler adds an additional layer of intrigue to the tournament, as fans wonder if he can overcome the distractions and contend for the title. Scheffler’s resilience and talent will be put to the test as he competes against a field of elite players. With the halfway point in the championship reached, the stakes are high for every player as they strive to make their mark on the leaderboard and secure a strong finish.

As the competition heats up in the later rounds of the PGA Championship, players will need to maintain their focus and composure to navigate the challenges of the Valhalla Golf Club. The pressure of a major championship can bring out the best in some players while causing others to falter. With fans watching closely and the world of golf paying attention, the stage is set for an unforgettable finish to the 2024 PGA Championship. Stay tuned for more updates and highlights from the tournament as the players battle it out for the title.
