The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club has reached the halfway point, with Scottie Scheffler holding a commanding lead at 21-under-par after 36 holes. Starting the tournament at 10-under due to the format of the event, Scheffler has a four-shot advantage over Collin Morikawa, who sits at 17-under after an impressive round of 63 on Friday. Xander Schauffele is one shot behind Morikawa at 16-under, making it a three-horse race at the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend.

Sahith Theegala, Wyndham Clark, and Adam Scott are tied for fourth place at 12-under, nine shots behind the leaders. In order to challenge Scheffler, Morikawa, and Schauffele, they will need to produce low scores in the final two rounds of the tournament. Sam Burns is in solo seventh place at 11-under, followed by Tony Finau and Hideki Matsuyama at nine-under, 11 shots off the lead.

The tee times for round three of the Tour Championship feature some exciting pairings, including Patrick Cantlay and Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Thomas and Matthieu Pavon, and Sungjae Im and Rory McIlroy. The final group of the day will consist of Scheffler and Morikawa, who will battle it out for the top spot on the leaderboard. Golf fans can watch the action unfold on TV or online, with coverage available on Golf Channel, NBC, and Peacock in the US, and on Sky Sports Golf and Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.

As Scheffler looks to secure his first Tour Championship title and the $25 million first prize, Morikawa and Schauffele will be determined to challenge him for the coveted victory. With only two rounds remaining, the pressure is on for the players to perform at their best and maintain their positions on the leaderboard. Fans can expect an exciting weekend of top-class golf as the battle for the Tour Championship crown heats up at East Lake Golf Club.

In addition to the top contenders, other players in the field will be looking to make a move up the leaderboard and potentially claim a share of the lucrative prize money on offer. With so much at stake, every shot will be crucial as the tournament reaches its climax. Golf enthusiasts can follow all the action and updates from the Tour Championship through various platforms, including live coverage, news updates, and analysis from experts in the field.

The Tour Championship has a rich history of producing thrilling moments and dramatic finishes, and this year’s edition promises to be no different. With a star-studded field featuring some of the world’s best golfers, fans can expect to witness high-quality play and intense competition throughout the weekend. From long drives to pinpoint approaches and clutch putts, the players will showcase their skills and talent on one of golf’s biggest stages.

As the tournament unfolds, all eyes will be on Scheffler, Morikawa, and Schauffele as they battle for supremacy and aim to etch their names into the history books. The Tour Championship represents the culmination of a season-long journey for the players, who have overcome challenges and obstacles to reach this final stage.
