Toulon Golf has recently unveiled its latest Small Batch putter, named Pinehurst, as a tribute to the 1999 United States Open at Pinehurst’s No. 2 course, where champion Payne Stewart used a center shafted blade putter to win the tournament. The design of the Pinehurst putter was inspired by Stewart’s preferred style of putter, incorporating elements from the various putters he used throughout his career.

The key design aspect of the Small Batch Pinehurst putter is the topline, which features a unique shape and width to provide golfers with a clear view of the leading edge and make alignment easier. The hosel is positioned slightly rearward on the topline to maintain a clean and uninterrupted look. Toulon also focused on creating a forgiving design by redistributing weight from the center to the toe and heel, while increasing the blade length and width for added forgiveness.

The back shoulders and cavity of the Pinehurst putter are shaped to be slightly concave, with milled micro grooves for enhanced performance. The back cavity logo features an art deco inspired font and is painted in white against a midnight blue finish. To honor Stewart’s love of tartan, Toulon created a unique tartan pattern on the sole of the putter, featuring colors like Creamy Yellow, Vintage Blue, and Vintage Orange.

Specs of the Toulon Golf Small Batch Pinehurst putter include 904L Stainless Steel material, a fine double fly cut face mill, midnight blue PVD finish, custom Toulon Collection dark blue pistol grip, chrome stepless steel shaft, small batch leather headcover, 355g head weight, center shafted toe hang, 3 degrees loft, and 70 degrees lie angle. The Small Batch Pinehurst putter is priced at $1,800 and available for purchase on Toulon Golf’s website.

The limited supply of the Small Batch Pinehurst putter makes it a unique collector’s item for golf enthusiasts and collectors. The intricate design and attention to detail in honoring Payne Stewart’s legacy add to the appeal of this special edition putter. Toulon Golf’s dedication to crafting high-quality, custom putters is evident in the Small Batch Pinehurst design, which combines performance, style, and a tribute to one of golf’s most iconic tournaments.

Golfers looking for a premium putter with a classic design and modern performance features will appreciate the Toulon Golf Small Batch Pinehurst putter. The combination of traditional elements like the center shafted design and art deco inspired details with innovative technology like milled micro grooves and weight distribution make this putter a standout choice for players seeking both style and performance. The limited availability and unique tartan design add to the exclusivity of the Small Batch Pinehurst putter.

Overall, the Toulon Golf Small Batch Pinehurst putter is a fitting tribute to Payne Stewart’s legacy and the 1999 United States Open at Pinehurst. The meticulous craftsmanship, premium materials, and attention to detail in the design of this putter set it apart as a must-have for collectors and golfers who appreciate quality and performance in their equipment. The Small Batch Pinehurst putter embodies the essence of Toulon Golf’s commitment to creating exceptional putters that combine tradition, innovation, and style for the discerning golfer.
