Striped TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x Golf Balls

The TaylorMade TP5 Stripe and TP5x Stripe golf balls are set to hit the market on August 29th, priced at $57.99 per dozen. These five-piece, urethane-covered balls feature a 360-degree, 22-millimeter stripe pattern that is designed to help golfers with aim and putting performance. The balls are targeted towards golfers who are looking for tour-level distance off the tee and spin around the green.

TaylorMade is incorporating the 360 ClearPath Alignment Stripe technology, previously only available on the Tour Response balls, into their premium TP5 and TP5x balls. This technology makes it easier for golfers to align and aim their putts, providing instant feedback on the quality of their stroke. The visual aid of the stripe helps golfers to consistently line up their shots and improve their performance on the green.

While other manufacturers have experimented with lines and stripes on golf balls, TaylorMade’s 360 ClearPath Alignment Stripe takes this concept to a new level. The bright yellow stripe stands out against the white background of the ball, making it easy to see and align with your intended target line. This technology has been popular among tour players such as Rory McIlroy, Nelly Korda, Rickie Fowler, and Collin Morikawa.

The TP5 Stripe and TP5x Stripe feature a more subtle design compared to the Tour Response Stripe, with black-dot borders and a black line in the center of the ball. This more traditional look may appeal to golfers who prefer a classic aesthetic on the course. Despite the visual changes, the performance of these striped balls remains the same as their non-striped counterparts.

Both the TP5 and TP5x Stripe balls are five-layer balls with a three-layer core infused with SpeedWrap technology. Developed by Dow Chemical, SpeedWrap enhances the compression of the balls, allowing for more speed without sacrificing feel. The TP5x boasts a firmer feel and higher launch angle, making it ideal for players seeking more distance with woods and long irons. On the other hand, the TP5 offers more spin with wedges and a softer overall compression for a softer feel.

In conclusion, the TaylorMade TP5 Stripe and TP5x Stripe golf balls offer golfers a premium option with enhanced alignment technology and high performance on the course. Whether you are a tour player or a weekend warrior, these balls are designed to help you improve your accuracy, distance, and overall game. Consider giving them a try to see how they can elevate your performance on the greens.
