GOLFZON Tour is a new simulator golf league that offers everyday players a chance to compete for a $150,000 grand prize. The league consists of 12 regional teams of five players each, representing GOLFZON host facilities from the U.S., London, Toronto, and Mexico. The competition initially started with 12 teams battling it out in a match-play format, with the winners moving on to the next round. Team Los Angeles recently secured a spot in the semi-final round after defeating Team Minneapolis in a thrilling match at Kingsbarns Golf Links in Scotland.

The format of the GOLFZON Tour includes single-elimination bracket play, where teams of three players compete head-to-head by linking their simulators together over the Internet. Female competitors play 85 percent of the yardage of their male counterparts. If there is a tie after 18 holes, the match goes into a sudden-death playoff where all three players’ scores count. The team with the lowest score on a hole wins the playoff. Team Los Angeles secured a 5-and-4 victory over Team Minneapolis in their quarterfinal match, showcasing their skills and earning a spot in the semi-finals.

The 12 teams competing in the current edition of GOLFZON Tour are divided into East and West Divisions. Teams such as Detroit, Orlando, and Los Angeles are still in contention for the grand prize, while others like London, Toronto, and Houston have been eliminated from the competition. Fans can follow the matches on GOLFZON’s YouTube page, where new episodes and match recaps are released weekly. The tour is now in the single-elimination semi-final rounds, leading up to the grand finale in Orlando.
