The GOLFZON Tour is an exciting new simulator-golf match-play competition featuring regional teams of five players each from 12 selected GOLFZON host facilities, with a grand prize of $150,000 up for grabs. The teams compete in a series of matches, with the first six matches having been completed so far. Team Orlando, Team Minneapolis, Team New York, and Team Houston were among the early winners, setting the stage for an intense competition as the tournament progresses. With single-elimination bracket play currently in progress, the stakes are high as teams battle it out for a chance to claim the grand prize.

Team Tulsa recently faced off against Team Houston in a thrilling quarterfinal matchup, with the action taking place at the iconic Kiawah Resort’s Ocean course. Competing in real-time from their regional simulator locations, Team Tulsa got off to a fast start, winning the first three holes to take an early lead. Despite a comeback attempt from Team Houston, Team Tulsa maintained their advantage and ultimately emerged victorious with a 3 and 2 win. This win secured Team Tulsa’s spot in the semifinal round of the GOLFZON Tour, putting them one step closer to the $150,000 grand prize.

The 12 teams competing in the GOLFZON Tour are divided into East and West divisions, with teams from cities like Detroit, New York City, Orlando, Minneapolis, and Tulsa all vying for the championship title. Fans can follow the action by watching full matches on GOLFZON’s YouTube page, where new episodes and match recaps are released weekly. With the tour currently in the single-elimination quarterfinal rounds, viewers can stay updated on which teams are advancing and ultimately making it to the finale on January 23rd in Orlando.

The format of the GOLFZON Tour features teams of three players competing head-to-head in a match-play format, with two of the best three player scores counting on each hole. Female competitors play at 85 percent of the yardage of their male counterparts, adding an element of fairness and equality to the competition. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, matches go into a sudden-death playoff where all three players’ scores count, adding a thrilling twist to the tournament format.

With the GOLFZON Tour heating up and the competition getting fiercer with each match, players and fans alike are eagerly anticipating the outcome of this groundbreaking tournament. Stay tuned to see which team will emerge victorious and claim the $150,000 grand prize in what promises to be an exciting conclusion to the inaugural season of the GOLFZON Tour. Follow along with the action on GOLFZON’s YouTube page and stay up to date on all the latest tournament news and results.
