TaylorMade has recently released their new women’s club line, the Kalea Gold, which is available for pre-order for $1,899 for a 10-piece set plus bag. The Kalea Gold line represents a new gold standard for women’s clubs, designed by women, for women. This premium lineup features clubs with white, blue, and gold accents, chosen based on direct feedback from female golfers and various advisory groups. The clubs in the Kalea Gold line are designed to be lightweight, forgiving, and suitable for a wide range of playing abilities, making them a popular choice for both first-time golfers and experienced players.

The driver in the Kalea Gold line features Carbonwood construction throughout the head, allowing for optimized energy transfer, launch, and improved ball speeds. This design also makes the driver faster and more forgiving on off-center strikes. The fairway woods in the line include a carbon crown, Speed Pocket, and Inverted Cone face for higher launch and improved downrange dispersion. Additionally, the Kalea Gold irons feature a cap back design that merges the benefits of a hollow body iron with a more traditional cavity back, providing a better feel and progressive upright lie angles for a built-in draw bias.

The Kalea Gold set includes a putter designed around the popular Spider S shaping, featuring a multi-material design to reduce twisting at impact for a more consistent roll. The blue body, grey True Path alignment, and gold trailing edge of the putter provide a reliable alignment line that complements the overall colorway of the Kalea Gold line. Feedback from various advisory groups and real-time testing by female industry professionals and company employees helped shape the design of the clubs in the line, ensuring they meet the preferences of women golfers in terms of performance and aesthetics.

TaylorMade’s Kalea Gold line represents a new and fresh way of thinking about women’s golf club design, setting a new standard for women’s clubs in the industry. The line is designed to look good and perform for a wider range of playing abilities, making it a popular choice for female golfers of all experience levels. The inclusion of Carbonwood construction in the driver, carbon crowns in the fairway woods, and a cap back design in the irons showcases the premium technology and performance features of the Kalea Gold line. Golfers looking to overhaul their bag for 2024 can find a fitting location near them at True Spec Golf to experience the benefits of the Kalea Gold clubs firsthand.
