The Bandon Solstice event is a highlight in the golf community, attracting over 100 golfers to play 72 holes at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon. The event, dubbed as Golf’s Longest Day, is a celebration of golf fanatics pushing their limits. Players start their rounds early in the morning, taking advantage of the longest day of the year. The event includes rounds on four of Bandon Dunes’ stunning courses, including Bandon Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old MacDonald, and Sheep Ranch, all ranked in GOLF’s Top 100 U.S. Courses list.

Participants of the Bandon Solstice event start their day with a breakfast buffet at 4:30 a.m. and continue to play four rounds of golf throughout the day. The resort provides talented caddies who carry two bags for two rounds each, making the experience less of a physical strain for players. The event is organized at a brisk pace, with groups typically finishing all four rounds before sunset, leaving time for additional activities like an “E9” putting contest on the resort’s Punchbowl putting course.

The Bandon Solstice event package includes two nights of lodging, a welcome reception and dinner, breakfast on the day of the event, four rounds of golf, and dinner after the event. The cost for the event is $2,005 per person for a double occupancy room and $2,345 per person for a single occupancy room or shared two-bedroom loft, in addition to caddie fees. Registration for the event is highly sought after, with spots selling out quickly each year.
