Missouri is home to some of the best golf courses in the United States, according to GOLF’s newly released rankings. These rankings were determined by a panel of over 100 expert raters who identified the top courses in every state. For those looking to plan a golf trip in the future, GOLF’s Course Finder tool can help create the perfect itinerary by filtering courses based on various criteria such as price and course type. In addition to the state rankings, GOLF also offers rankings for the top courses in the world, the top public courses, and more.

Among the top golf courses in Missouri are St. Louis Country Club, Bellerive Country Club, and Ozarks National at Big Cedar Lodge. These courses offer a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Ozarks National at Big Cedar Lodge, in particular, stands out as it is both a public course and one of the top 100 You Can Play courses in the U.S. Other notable courses in Missouri include Old Warson Country Club and Payne’s Valley at Big Cedar Lodge, both of which are highly regarded by golf enthusiasts.

The ranking process for GOLF’s Top 100 U.S. and Top 100 You Can Play lists involved each panelist voting on their top courses from a list of 609 options. Courses were grouped into buckets based on their ranking, with points assigned to each bucket. The final rankings were determined by averaging the scores for each course based on the panelists’ votes. This straightforward process has been successful in producing accurate and respected results in the past.

The key to the ranking process lies in the expertise and experience of the panelists, who come from various countries and have played numerous courses around the world. Their diverse backgrounds and knowledge of golf course architecture contribute to the credibility of the rankings. With handicaps ranging from +5 to 15, the panelists bring a range of perspectives to the ranking process, ensuring that no single opinion carries more weight than others.

For golfers looking to improve their game, GOLF recommends picking up a custom Green Book from their affiliate GolfLogix. These Green Books can help players navigate the greens at their home courses more effectively, leading to lower scores and a more enjoyable golfing experience. Overall, the rankings and resources provided by GOLF can help golf enthusiasts plan their next golfing adventure with confidence and certainty.

In addition to the course rankings, GOLF also offers an all-new travel podcast called Destination GOLF, where listeners can get insider tips and recommendations for golf trips around the world. The podcast is available on various platforms such as Apple, Spotify, iHeart, and Amazon, making it easily accessible to golf enthusiasts everywhere. By listening to Destination GOLF, golfers can discover new destinations, courses, and travel experiences to add to their bucket list.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, the rankings and resources provided by GOLF can help enhance your golfing experience. From discovering the best courses in Missouri to planning a dream golf trip, GOLF’s comprehensive rankings and tools cater to golfers of all levels and interests. With a focus on accuracy, credibility, and expertise, GOLF’s rankings are a valuable resource for anyone looking to take their golf game to the next level.
