The 2025 American Express tournament is set to begin at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., with the first round on Thursday morning. Last year’s winner, Nick Dunlap, made history by becoming the first amateur in 33 years to win on the PGA Tour, following in the footsteps of Phil Mickelson. Dunlap’s victory at the American Express paved the way for him to turn pro, and he went on to secure another win at the Barracuda Championship.

Nick Dunlap is back at the American Express this year, looking to kick off his second season as a professional golfer on a high note. He will tee off for the opening round alongside Sam Burns at 11:41 a.m. ET. Fans can catch the action on TV through Golf Channel, which will air coverage starting at 4 p.m. ET. Viewers can also stream the tournament online via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ for exclusive early coverage and featured group streaming. Additionally, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App will offer a live simulcast for cable subscribers.
