Two Major Wins for These Irons in 2021: Release Coming Soon

In 2024, Xander Schauffele had a career-defining year, winning his first major at the USPGA Championship and following that up with a stunning victory at the Open Championship at Royal Troon. To celebrate his achievement, Callaway Golf is releasing the Apex TCB irons that Schauffele used to win these tournaments to the general public. These irons, which are normally a tour-only offering, will be limited to just 1,000 sets in the US, so golfers are advised to act fast if they want to get their hands on some of the best irons of 2024.

One of the major differences between the Apex TCB irons and the standard Apex CBs is the raw finish. Callaway has not applied the last protective layer of coating to these irons, allowing them to weather and rust over time for a more rugged and industrial look. Additionally, the shaping of the heads is slightly different in the playing position, with a thinner topline and shorter heel-to-toe blade length, making them ideal for accomplished ball strikers.

Xander Schauffele has had a successful season with the Apex TCB irons, ranking 2nd in Stroke Average on the PGA Tour and 7th in Strokes Gained Approach. With impressive approach play like this, it’s no surprise that Schauffele was able to secure victories at two major championships in 2024. Now, golfers have the opportunity to play with the same irons that helped Schauffele achieve his success.

The Apex TCB irons are priced at $1505 for a seven-club set, or $205 per club. They come equipped with stock True Temper Dynamic Gold Mid 115 steel shafts, but custom shaft and grip options are also available. Golfers who are interested in purchasing these limited-edition irons should act quickly to secure their set before they sell out.
