The 2024 Solheim Cup is in its final day with Team USA facing off against Team Europe at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. The U.S. team currently leads the all-time series 10-7-1 but has not won since 2017. After the first two days of competition, the U.S. team has managed to take the lead over Europe with a score of 10-6.

During the Saturday afternoon fourballs session, Team USA managed to secure two wins, with Andrea Lee and Rose Zhang defeating Linn Grant and Celine Boutier 6 and 4, and Alison Lee and Megan Khang defeating Anna Nordqvist and Madelene Sagstrom 4 and 3. However, Europe was able to secure two victories as well, with Carlota Ciganda and Emily Pedersen defeating Ally Ewing and Lexi Thompson 2 and 1, and Charley Hull and Georgia Hall defeating Allisen Corpuz and Lilia Vu 2 up.

As the Solheim Cup enters its final day on Sunday, the 12 members of each team will compete in the singles matches to determine the winner of the Cup. The U.S. team is aiming to earn 14 ½ points to secure the victory. The Sunday singles matches will be broadcast on Golf Channel from 8:45 a.m. to noon ET, followed by coverage on NBC and Peacock from noon to 3 p.m. The closing ceremony will be aired on Golf Channel from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Key players to watch for in the Sunday singles matches include Nelly Korda, Lauren Coughlin, Jennifer Kupcho, and Sarah Schmelzel for Team USA, while Esther Henseleit, Maja Stark, Leona Maguire, and Albana Valenzuela did not play for Team Europe during the Saturday fourballs session. Team USA will need strong performances from their players in the singles matches to secure the victory and reclaim the Solheim Cup.

With the atmosphere at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville heating up, fans and spectators can expect an intense final day of competition between Team USA and Team Europe. As the U.S. team aims to clinch the win after a drought since 2017, the European team will be looking to make a comeback and secure the Cup on American soil. The Solheim Cup promises to deliver thrilling and competitive golf as the two teams battle it out for bragging rights and the title of champion.
