Watch the 2025 American Express Friday TV coverage and streaming

The 2025 American Express is currently underway at three courses in La Quinta, Calif. The event began with PGA Tour veteran J.T. Poston leading the leaderboard after firing a 10-under 62 at PGA West’s Nicklaus Tournament Course. With a small lead, Poston heads into the second round with Justin Lower close behind at nine under, and a group of players sitting at eight under. The second round of the American Express will be played on Pete Dye’s Stadium Course on Friday, January 17. Viewers can watch the tournament on TV through Golf Channel with coverage starting at 4 p.m. ET. Additionally, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer exclusive early coverage and featured group streaming.

For those looking to stream the event online, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide coverage starting at 11:30 a.m. ET.
