The 2025 Genesis Invitational was temporarily moved to Torrey Pines due to wildfires that struck Los Angeles in January, forcing organizers to find a new venue for the event. The tournament, which usually takes place at the Riviera Country Club, will now be held at Torrey Pines, the same course that hosted the Farmers Insurance Open last month. Despite tournament host Tiger Woods withdrawing from the event, many top PGA Tour players, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth, will be participating.

With the Genesis Invitational receiving Signature Event status, the purse for the tournament will be $20 million, with $4 million going to the winner on Sunday. Golf Channel and CBS will provide TV coverage of the event, with Golf Channel airing on Thursday and Friday, and CBS taking over for the weekend rounds. For those looking to stream the tournament online, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer exclusive main feed and featured group coverage, starting at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday.

The 2025 Genesis Invitational will take place from Thursday, February 13 to Sunday, February 16 at Torrey Pines South Course in San Diego, California. The event will feature top golfers competing for a chance to win a share of the $20 million prize purse. The TV schedule for the tournament includes coverage on Golf Channel and CBS, with specific times listed for each day of the event. Additionally, fans can stream the tournament online through PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ and CBS’s broadcasts with Paramount+ or the CBS Sports App.

As the Genesis Invitational attracts some of the best golfers in the world, fans can expect to see exciting competition throughout the tournament. With players like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth in the field, there will be plenty of star power on display. The temporary move to Torrey Pines adds a unique element to this year’s event, with players facing a different challenge compared to the traditional setting at Riviera Country Club.

For fans looking to follow the action online, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ offers a convenient way to watch the tournament from anywhere. With exclusive coverage and featured groups, viewers can get a closer look at their favorite players as they navigate the course. Additionally, streaming options through Paramount+ and the CBS Sports App provide access to CBS’s broadcasts of the event, ensuring that fans don’t miss any of the action on TV.

The Genesis Invitational is a prestigious event on the PGA Tour schedule, and the 2025 edition promises to deliver thrilling golf and intense competition. As players vie for a shot at the $4 million first-place prize, the stakes are high, and every shot will matter. With TV coverage on Golf Channel and CBS, as well as online streaming options, fans can experience all the excitement of the tournament from the comfort of their homes. Whether you’re a die-hard golf fan or just looking for some entertainment, the Genesis Invitational is sure to provide a memorable experience.
