Watching TV, streaming, and tee times: A guide

The 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii is the first full-field PGA Tour event of the year, taking place at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. The tournament features a long list of proven Tour pros competing for the $1.566 million winner’s prize. Hideki Matsuyama, the 2021 Masters champion, is already a winner in 2025 after setting a scoring record at last week’s Sentry tournament. He is looking to add his 12th career Tour victory and second in a row at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Other notable players in the field include Tom Kim, Keegan Bradley, and Corey Conners. The action begins with the opening round on Thursday, with TV coverage provided by NBC and Golf Channel. Streaming coverage is available online through PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, Peacock, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports App. The tournament takes place from Thursday to Sunday, with a purse of $8.7 million and a $1.566 million winner’s share.

The TV schedule for the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii includes coverage on Golf Channel and NBC. The first two rounds will be broadcast on Thursday and Friday from 7-10:30 p.m. ET, while the weekend rounds will have coverage on both NBC and Golf Channel. Online streaming of the tournament is available through PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ for featured group coverage, as well as on Peacock, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports App for live simulcasts of Golf Channel and NBC’s coverage.

The tee times for the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii have yet to be released, but will be available closer to the start of the tournament.
