The 2025 PGA Show was a major event in the golf industry, with GOLF’s staff present to experience the latest products and innovations. Despite the soggy weather, Maddi MacClurg and Jack Hirsh ventured out to Demo Day to explore Cobra’s new gear and meet with Cobra partners such as Lexi Thompson and Kyle Berkshire. Berkshire shared swing tips with MacClurg, while Thompson discussed her equipment setup with Hirsh.

On the PGA Show floor at the Orange County Convention Center, over 1,100 vendors showcased their products, and PGA of America programming was featured on the main stage. GOLF Top 100 Teacher Jason Baile received the PGA of America Teacher and Coach of the Year award during one presentation. MacClurg tried on Nike x Hyperice recovery boots, while Hirsh and Kris McCormack discovered new technology from Mizuno. Marksbury was impressed by a golf club backpack from Lowercase, designed for urban players or those who utilize public transportation to reach the course.

During the show, McCormack learned about a collaboration between Stix Golf and Nicklaus, and MacClurg explored the Practice Glove, a training tool for correct hand placement on the club. The GOLF staff had an enlightening experience over the three days, with McCormack emphasizing the variety of offerings available for all types of players. Marksbury noted the difference between reading about products in emails versus interacting with passionate founders and creators at the show.

The diverse range of products and innovations at the 2025 PGA Show catered to all golf enthusiasts, regardless of their interests, playing style, or skill level. The event provided a platform for industry professionals and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and discover new trends in the golf world. From equipment to technology, training tools, and accessories, the show offered something for everyone to explore and enhance their golfing experience.

The collaboration between golf brands and professionals, such as the partnership between Stix Golf and Nicklaus, showcased the industry’s commitment to innovation and development. The presence of top teachers like Jason Baile receiving recognition further highlighted the dedication to coaching and education within the golf community. The show served as a hub for networking, knowledge-sharing, and celebrating the advancements in golf equipment and accessories.

The personal interactions with founders and creators of golf products at the show added a unique and engaging element to the experience for GOLF’s staff. Being able to speak directly with the individuals behind the products and witness their passion and dedication firsthand brought a new level of understanding and appreciation for the innovations on display. This personal connection enhanced the overall enjoyment and excitement surrounding the event for attendees and exhibitors alike.

Overall, the 2025 PGA Show was a resounding success, drawing in a large number of exhibitors, industry professionals, and golf enthusiasts. The event showcased the latest products, technologies, and trends in the golf industry, providing a comprehensive overview of the current landscape and future direction of the sport. With a wide range of products to explore, presentations to attend, and networking opportunities to partake in, the show offered a valuable and enriching experience for all those involved.
