The PING s159 wedge is a new addition to PING’s wedge lineup for 2024, designed with better players in mind. With a compact look, elite spin, and controlled launch, the s159 wedge offers improved performance and versatility for players looking to dominate their short game. The wedge comes in two finishes, Hydropearl 2.0 Chrome and Midnight, providing players with options to match their preferred look with the performance they need. Additionally, PING offers customization options through their Customizer Program on PING.com, allowing players to personalize their wedges with laser-etched graphics, stamping, and paint fill.

The 8620 carbon steel construction of the PING s159 wedge provides precise feedback through the hands, allowing players to easily locate impact and differentiate between pure shots and mishits. The wedge produces a quiet, tight “snap” sound upon impact, giving players subtle audio feedback on their shots. The s159 wedge excels in spin creation, offering elite spin on both pitch shots and full shots to help players maximize their short game performance.

The PING s159 wedge features two new grinds, the B Grind and the H Grind, adding to the existing S, W, T, and E Grind options. The B Grind is designed for firm turf and shallow angles of attack, with a wider, low bounce sole for added stability. The H Grind is recommended for steeper angles of attack and players who want to play with a variety of face angles. The variety of sole options, combined with PING’s Find Your Grind online fitting tool, make it easy for players to find the right grind for their game.

Overall, the PING s159 wedge offers a combination of elite spin, controlled launch, and a variety of sole options to suit every player’s needs. With a clean look at address and in the bag, the s159 wedge provides better players with the confidence to take on challenging shots and improve their short game performance. By working with a fitter or using PING’s online fitting tool, players can find their perfect grind and enjoy the benefits of a well-suited wedge for their game. Whether players are looking to upgrade their wedge game or try something new, the PING s159 wedge offers a compelling option for enhancing their short game performance.
